CAD Technologist/Rebar Detailer (Saskatoon Branch)

Responsibilities: 

Under the direction of the Sales Manager the CAD Technologist is to:

  • Provide clear, accurate and concise rebar shop drawings in AutoCAD
  • Coordinate rebar requirements and delivery dates with projects
  • Ensure that material shipped is within estimated parameters
  • Misc administration

Qualifications:

  • Requires working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Formal education in the field of CAD is an asset
  • Requires the ability to read blueprints
  • Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision

Rebar Installation Foreman (Saskatoon Branch)

Responsibilities: 

Under the direction of the Installation Coordinator the Rebar Installation Foreman is to

  • Oversee staff on job sites to ensure rebar is installed properly
  • Work with contractors to ensure schedules and needs are met
  • Resolve issues on site
  • Ensure extra billable hours are documented
  • Ensure staff work in a safe and responsible manner
  • Provide supervisory instruction to employees
  • Advise and assist to recover any extra material remaining on site
  • Manage accessory usage

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with reinforcing steel installation
  • Must be able to interpret architectural, structural and mechanical drawings
  • Requires a valid drivers licence
