  • Ardel Steel has extensive fabrication capabilities - the above is merely a guideline for commonly used services.
Ordering & Installation Notes
  • Ardel will cut the steel beam to the desired length, add primer and the wood plate on top as well as any other fabrication required.
  • Beams need to bear a minimum of 4" on the concrete wall or pocket.
  • Contractors will either:
    • Pour a bearing plate or angle iron into the concrete for the beam to rest on
    • Anchor the beam directly to the wall with wedge anchors
